Kosake

Kosake is an imported 15'3 hand, bay, Trakehner stallion bred by Manfred Haertel of Porta Westfalica, Germany. Kosake is by Hexer by Seigel (Totilas) out of Heia out of Kathinka lll by Froshinn out of PR. ST. Kantilene. Kathinka lll is from the Family of Kassette 690 from the HauptGestuet Trakehnen. Kosake's extremely distinguished lineage is seldom seen in the United States.

We purchased Kosake and his full sister Katalina(Kastella) in 1988 and had them transported to America that same year. In 1995 Kosake was approved as an Elite American Warmblood Stallion. He excelled in dressage and won the Grand Champion of Miami-Dade Dressage, was third in Region Three which encompasses Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.

While showing in dressage some of the judges comments were: "Attractive horse, lovely attitude," Lara Whitham. "He can be a sweetie," and "Nice horse with good gaits," Jonas Lindgren.

Kosake passes on his exceptional personality and temperament to his prodigy. He also imprints his foals with his rhythmical, well balanced and lifting gaits. Kosake possesses the classical Trakehner head with wonderful, large, dark eyes.

It is said there is one excellent mount in an equestrians life time and Kosake is this extraordinary mount for me!
